Philosophical Essay on Soyo's Existence Ethics

(Existence itself is Ethics)

The Moment That Stops the Flow – That Is Reflection

Life is like a river that never stops flowing. Sometimes calm, sometimes violent as a storm. Yet, no matter how fast the current moves, there comes a necessary moment when the river pauses to look back at its own source. That moment of pause is reflection.

Reflection is not mere recollection; it is a moment of light that passes through one’s inner being, a divine breath that re-tunes the rhythm of life.

Every human being tries to adjust to external standards and compares oneself to others, measuring life through another’s success, and judging one’s own worth by worldly yardsticks. But then life becomes an unsolvable riddle.

Soyo's Existence Ethics says, “Comparison is the fastest way to darken the light of existence.”

While we dwell in the shadows of others, the truth and conscience within us lose their light. Thus, humanity wanders, only to return to its original place. That moment of return this cycle is the threshold of reflection.

Love and Life Are Flow

Love, life, and faith all flow. Flow does not remain still; it moves and transforms. And when the flow stops, humanity faces a new journey called suffering. Suffering is not a rupture but the beginning of a new current. Just as water strikes a rock and changes direction, suffering redirects the soul toward God. Pain, therefore, is not a curse; it is the sacred calling through which existence restores its rhythm of truth.

“Do not fight against the flow. Understand its rhythm. That is the philosophy of harmony and the will of God.”

This is what Soyo’s Existence Ethics refers to as the Ethics of Harmony. Humans cannot control the flow of the world, but they can attune themselves to its rhythm. This attunement is faith, love, and the very philosophy of life.

The Essence of Faith – Not Emotion, but Direction

To live with faith is a great blessing. But faith is not a state of emotion; it is not about what you feel but whom you are facing. True faith does not remain in emotion; it aligns one’s entire being toward God. That orientation is what makes faith upright, and only that faith gives one the strength to walk against the current.

Faith directed toward God transcends worldly currents. Within that faith, one comes to see oneself anew. Amid the chaos of the world, only those who never lose the direction of faith toward the light can walk the path of truth.

“Faith is not stillness; it is the flow that directs existence toward God.”

Every Encounter Has a Reason

Encounters between people and even meetings with words are never coincidences. Within God’s providence, every moment is connected. When we meet someone or come across a piece of writing, we should ask:

“Why has this person come to me now?”

“Why did this writing arrive before my eyes today?”

From this question begins the meaning of life. Every encounter holds a lesson, every moment a divine message. What appears as a coincidence is, in truth, an event of reflection through which existence interprets God’s will.

Existence Always Dwells in the Flow

Life never stands still. Even in moments of despair or loss, existence continues to flow. Within this flow, we learn love, forgiveness, and the meaning of God’s will. When life feels heavy, that very weight is the gravity of light pulling us toward truth. That direction is what lifts us again. Existence is always within flow, and even our steps in that current have purpose. That purpose is the meaning of existence and the origin of ethics.

Reflection Within Flow – The Philosophy of Love

Reflection is not about looking back at the past. It is the process through which existence becomes aware of its own light. It is the moment when humanity learns the rhythm of God, reinterpreting life through the lens of truth.

“Existence is flow, and reflection is the stillness within that flow. Stillness gives birth to new flow, and at the center of all rhythm dwells the love of God.”

This is the Ethics of Life, Faith, and Existence as proclaimed by Soyo's Existence Ethics. In each passing day, we must not forget the small light of reflection that illuminates our souls. That light is the first spark of truth that makes us truly human.
