A Path Without Chance or Necessity – Responding to Readers' Questions

You asked, “Do fate, chance, and necessity necessarily exist in human life? Do they determine the path we must take?” This question is not merely about the meaning of words, but a mirror reflecting the time you have lived and the path you will walk. Therefore, I wish to respond to this question with the answer that the ethics of existence has long held.

Words shattered on the path of existence. There is neither chance nor necessity in the journey of human existence.

This assertion is not merely a negation, but a philosophical declaration aimed at recovering the essence of existence. The words “chance” and “necessity” are merely devices created by humans to understand the ambiguity of life. However, over time, these devices have become masks that obscure the truth, and humans have lived deceiving themselves within those masks.

The ethics of existence says:

Humans must be recognized for who they are, and they prove their own dignity. The events we call “chance” and “necessity” in life are nothing more than expressions of the choices we make with our free will. Choice always comes with responsibility. The heavier that responsibility feels, the more humans realize that they are the true subjects of their lives.

The depths of emotion and the burden unique to humans

If we ask why humans experience disappointment, defeat, heartbreak, and despair in life, the answer lies in the unique destiny, or rather, the burden of existence, that is permitted only to humans. That burden is not a punishment but evidence. Even what we call bad experiences have value in the journey of existence. They are not mere lessons, but milestones of conscience engraved on the path to eternity.

There are countless layers within the human mind. These layers manifest themselves in an endless spectrum of emotions, such as joy, anger, sadness, love, hatred, compassion, and longing. However, what we call “coincidence” or ‘inevitability’ is ultimately nothing more than a reflection of the emotions generated within ourselves. The world has sold this reflection as “fate,” and humans have accepted it as if it were an absolute order.

The illusion created by civilization and the negation of ethics

All the relationships we encounter in our daily lives, the disappointments, frustrations, defeats, and heartbreaks we experience within them, are fragments of life. However, civilization engraves the name “fate” upon these fragments. By doing so, it seeks to erase the traces of conscience engraved within the human heart. This is the negation of ethics.

Believing in fate is proof that my emotions are already being manipulated by others. At that moment, humans are no longer the subjects of their own lives, but become beings trapped in the judgments and distinctions of others. This structure has fueled countless religious conflicts and social tensions throughout history. Humans still believe in the illusions created by civilization, as if they were truths.

Living ethics through existence itself

The purest way for humans to prove their humanity is not by clinging to the illusion of fate or inevitability. It is by living ethics through existence itself. Living ethics is not merely the act of adhering to moral norms. It is choosing with free will, bearing the responsibility of that choice within one's conscience, and walking the path one must walk regardless of others' evaluations.

The moment one stands on this path, one is no longer bound by the constraints of fate. Instead, one realizes that one's existence is inherently noble and that the reason for one's creation is the expansion of love and life.

The silence of God and the breath of eternity

On this path, God's love is always present in the form of a silent breath.

That breath envelops existence without a sound, flowing gently in the depths of the conscience. Only those who feel it can understand the depth and meaning of ethics. That realization cannot be explained in words. It can only be proven by silently walking the path.

Existence means being human. Ethics is the life of a living conscience. The philosophy that proves that these two cannot be separated is the ethics of existence. We no longer rely on fate or chance to explain ourselves. Instead, we live the path of eternity in the breath of freedom, conscience, and God.

A message to the reader:

Do not impose the shackles of fate on your life. The choices you make today and the responsibility you bear are your own truth, already engraved on the path of eternity.
