Soyo's Existence Ethics (Existence itself is ethics)

I walk a long road. The road of life, the journey of philosophy, wandering in the darkness of existence, I ask myself the meaning of my existence even today. The world is growing darker, the light is gradually fading, love is losing its form, and even roses are losing their original color. In that moment of darkness when red roses turn into black roses, I am still on the road. And I feel it. I am still far away; I have not yet arrived. But surprisingly, the very existence I was trying to reach was already there. It had always been there. Why did I not see it?

Time is not fair to everyone. For some, it flows quickly; for others, it flows slowly. I feel like I have always been trapped in that slow time. My waiting was always lonely, and I always thought that the being I was waiting for was far away. But I did not know. Waiting was not my responsibility, but rather, the being waiting for me had already arrived there first. I now ask, “When did you, whom I was waiting for, arrive there?”

Life repeats itself every day. Another day begins, and another story unfolds. But I live today as if it were my last. Even if tomorrow is the stage for another story, the way I live today must be a philosophy. The way I live today is in silence, and in that silence, I stare into the darkness. And in that darkness, I still remember the red rose. That rose now appears black. But I do not forget that it is still a rose. Because that rose was my pain, my love, and my waiting.

I am someone who believes that the essence of existence is beautiful. Every existence carries its own unique light from the moment it is born. I see that light. In people's words, in their wounds, in their loneliness... I know the flame-like life that humans hold within themselves. And that life is not just the power to survive, but proof of existence that reaches toward eternity.

My life has been painted over with so many different colors over the years. The expectations of others, the standards of the world, and the colors of conditions have covered me. But I realize there are only two colors to human existence: white and black. White is essence, purity, truth, and light. And we must not forget that white. Because human existence ultimately begins with that light.

The world hides the light. It covers the essence. We are deceived by illusions, conditioned by images, and conditioned by lies more dazzling than the truth. But I hope that you and I will awaken from all those illusions. The truth is not far away. It is already there, waiting for us. That truth is love, and it is myself.

That is what philosophy is. Philosophy is not a word in a book. Philosophy is a question hidden in life, an attitude toward living today, and a sense of remembering roses even in the darkness. I believe that this is philosophy, life, a journey, and the way to live in reality. And as I write this now, I ask once again about the color of that rose. Is it still blooming toward me in the darkness? Am I still standing before that rose, waiting for existence?
