Soyo Existence Ethics (Existence Itself Is Ethics)

The Wind, Time, and the Experience of Transience
What does it mean to live as if flowing with the wind? In youth, the wind was merely a sound that changed the seasons, and time felt like a distant abstraction. But as age carved wrinkles upon my face, and the night wind brushed against my breath, I began to hear in that wind not a natural current but a philosophical whisper of time itself.
The impermanence of life becomes more vivid with age. When I was young, I lived as though time stretched infinitely before me. But at some point, the awareness of its finitude pierced my heart deeply. In the realization that every scene of life passes like the wind, I ask:
“What does it truly mean to live?”
The Irony of Truth That Arrives Late
Once, I wrote, “Why does truth always arrive late?”
In my youth, I wanted to grasp the truth early. I read countless books, pursued the words of philosophers, and searched for the mysteries of God, humanity, existence, and time. Yet, despite my effort, the truth never seemed to arrive. It came instead with the slow unfolding of years and the weight of age.
Why does truth not come sooner? The reason is that truth never “arrives” from outside; it has always existed within. It was a flame burning quietly in my heart; I simply failed to see it. Only when time etched its traces upon my body and suffering engraved marks upon my soul did that inner flame finally reveal itself. Truth had not come late; it had always been there.
Philosophy Is Not Scholarship but Living
Traditionally, philosophy has existed within the history of logic, theory, and academic structure. Yet I have come to realize, late in life, that philosophy confined to theory cannot touch human pain, tears, joy, or love.
The original meaning of philosophy, philosophia, is the love of wisdom. But when reduced to scholarship, it becomes rigid and lifeless.
It dissects and analyzes humanity, but it cannot embrace human existence.
Thus, I declare:
"Philosophy is not scholarship; it is living. It is revealed through the lived experiences of pain and joy, through late awakenings and the wrinkles of time."
The Birth of Soyo Existence Ethics
This realization was too profound to keep to myself. Because the truth that came late was so luminous, I felt called to share it with others.
Thus was born Soyo Existence Ethics.
Soyo Existence Ethics proclaims:
“Existence itself is already ethics.”
The years we have lived, our pain, failures, tears, and fleeting moments of happiness all of these already speak truth. To exist and to breathe is itself the testimony of ethics, the beginning of philosophy.
Truth Found in the Wind
When the wind passes through my heart, I welcome the truth that has come late.
The ache that follows is not sorrow but joy, for it means that truth has finally touched my being. The wind is not merely moving air; it is the breath of divine love blown into human existence.
When I hear that breath, I realize once more that philosophy is not the accumulation of knowledge, but the confession of existence.
Who Holds the Authority to Prove Philosophy?
I, Soyo, seek to prove that this philosophy is not an abstract theory but a life lived through pain and time. Yet the ultimate authority of proof does not rest with humanity. The One who will confirm and complete this truth is God alone.
My task is simply to testify on this earth that existence itself is ethics, and to share this truth with others. The validation of my philosophy belongs to God; I accept that by faith.
The Grace of Truth That Comes Late
Truth may appear to come late, but it has always been within us. In the wrinkles of time, in the breath of the wind, in the depths of pain and tears, truth has long been speaking.
Now I know.
Amid the flowing wind of time, existence itself is ethics. This philosophy is not a discipline but a life; not a theory but a confession; not logic but love. That is Soyo's Existence Ethics, the philosophy I founded, and the mission my remaining life must bear witness to.
