Philosophical Identity Declaration
Soyo Existence Ethics — Existence Itself Is Ethics

Soyo Existence Ethics is an independent philosophical system founded by Soyo (逍遙). Its central proposition, “Existence itself is ethics,” is not derived from Spinoza’s philosophy, nor does it originate from the Daoist concept of Xiaoyao (逍遙) associated with Zhuangzi.
The proposition begins from the ontological recognition that human existence itself already bears ethical value and responsibility.
In Soyo Existence Ethics:
Conscience precedes morality.
Responsibility precedes freedom.
Existence is witnessed through living it out.
Therefore, the proposition “Existence itself is ethics” must be understood within the independent philosophical structure of Soyo Existence Ethics.
Soyo Existence Ethics does not seek to destroy or negate other philosophies. Rather, it seeks to recover dimensions of existence that philosophical systems may have left unresolved within their own historical conditions—especially the relationship among life, conscience, responsibility, and lived existence.
