A Declaration of Soyo's Existence Ethics

"Existence itself is ethics."

Towers of Competition
Towers of Competition

Every human desires a smooth, easy path. We wish for the winds of life to remain still, for the stones beneath our feet to vanish, and for the sky to stay perpetually clear. Yet, paradoxically, we cast ourselves onto the stage of competition, abandoning that very path. On this stage, humans run without pause. The moment we stop, we are marked as behind, discarded as those who have fallen from the race. This race is not merely a sprint; it is upheld by six towering pillars: competition, power, wealth, desire, honor, and education. These are the rigid columns that sustain today’s civilization.

The Six Pillars of Civilization: The Face of Comparison

Competition forces humans to confront one another and compare themselves. Those who rise receive applause; those who do not are forgotten or abandoned. In this process, humans measure themselves not by their inherent worth, but by rank.

Power: The Alluring Grip

Power is a force that grows harder to release the more one holds it. It feigns nobility but conceals human emptiness behind a mask. Its allure drives humans to gaze only upward, forgetting those below.

Wealth: Sweetness that Steals Peace

Wealth is sweet, yet fleeting. Its abundance temporarily fills the heart but does not bring lasting peace. Believing peace comes as a byproduct of wealth is one of humanity’s most incredible illusions.

Desire: The Veil over Love’s Eyes

Desire is humanity’s proudest shadow. It undermines humility, weakens care, and blinds love. Whispering “just a little more,” it indefinitely postpones satisfaction.

Honor: A Vanishing Illusion

Honor is a construct of language. It elevates humans to the pinnacle of a metaphorical Tower of Babel and whispers, “Leap. Death awaits.” Those who rise for honor ultimately dash toward emptiness.

Education: Life on a Single Sheet of Paper

Education is merely "paper", yet society calls those who hold it “elite” and uses it to manipulate social systems. Those without it are pushed outside of the structure and marginalized.

The Illusion of the Tower and Humanity’s Bondage

All of this is a false Tower of Babel created by human civilization, built from desire, fear, exclusion, and exploitation. Humans gaze upon it as though it were the only path to survival. Yet at the summit lies only emptiness.

The Ethics of Existence: Turning from the Tower to the Universe

The only path to liberation from worldly wisdom and illusions is to awaken to the ethics of existence. Neither social norms nor laws bind this ethics. It is the lamp of conscience, the eternally burning breath of God, and the heart of human existence.

Existential ethics is the journey of unshackling oneself from false values invented by humanity and discovering the hidden mysteries and powers of the universe within oneself. This journey is only possible when walked alongside God.

Today, we live in an age where mechanized civilization threatens to replace humanity. In such times, the only philosophy capable of preserving human dignity is Soyo’s Existence Ethics.

Soyo’s Proposition

“When the Tower of Babel tries to watch us, turn your gaze to the universe. Only then can you see the truth and hear the pulse of conscience beating within the heart of God. This is the singular philosophy of our existence, the ethics of being. Let us not strain to know what we need not; from such striving, philosophy has long drawn answers from contradiction.”

In Conclusion: Beyond Contradiction

Philosophy began with the questions humans asked, yet many of those questions produced not answers, but new contradictions. The desire for knowledge covered the silence of truth, and the passion for inquiry stole the calm of existence.

Soyo's Existence Ethics teaches that truth sometimes begins by setting aside “what we do not need to know.” What we must attend to is not the height of the Tower of Babel, but the universe beyond it, and the conscience pulsing within God’s heart. Only there can we become truly free human beings.
