Philosophical Essay on Soyo's Existence Ethics

(Existence itself is Ethics)

The Question That Changes the Direction of Philosophy

Philosophy has long placed humanity at its center. "Who am I?" "Why must I live?" "What is right?" These questions became the starting point for human self-understanding and attempts to explain the world. Yet, in the process, philosophy gradually degenerated into the language of a self-enclosed human being.

Soyo's Existence Ethics overturns this ancient tradition. It begins with the question philosophy has failed to ask: "O God, why did You bring me into existence here?"

This question marks the true beginning of philosophy. It is the humble awakening that abandons the arrogance of standing in God's place and judging the world, returning instead to the awareness of being permitted to exist. Philosophy is no longer speculation, but a response; no longer knowledge, but a reverent attunement.

From "What Is It?" to "Why Does It Exist?"

The history of philosophy began with the question "What is it?" What is being, what is good, what is truth? Yet this question sought only to clarify the essence of things; it never asked why being exists together with us. Soyo's Existence Ethics moves from "what" to "why together." "When you contemplate the mystery and wonder of all things, do not ask what they are, but why they are with human existence."

This inquiry shifts the focus from the essence of being to the relation of being. The reason a flower blooms, a star shines, or the wind passes by, these are not phenomena to be objectified by human perception, but testimonies to the divine intention that allows all to exist with humanity. This is Soyo's core proposition: "Existence itself is Ethics."

The Divine Response to the Origin of Existence

The question "O God, why did You make me exist?" is not an attempt to analyze God but a confession from one who seeks to live the reason for existence as ethics. Within this question, the human being is no longer the subject of philosophy but a creature responding within the breath of God. At that moment, philosophy becomes not a system of concepts but a dialogue between Creator and creation.

"Why have You placed me here?" becomes at once "I will live according to Your will. Philosophy thus turns from the pursuit of knowledge to a divine ethics of responsibility for one's existence.

The Mystery of Existence and the Companionship of Humanity

Soyo's Existence Ethics does not see humanity as an isolated being. Every creature, every moment, every emotion was created to coexist. Hence, all things find meaning only in being with humanity. Why does a flower bloom beside humankind? Why do pain and beauty coexist in a single life?

These are not phenomenological observations but ethical testimonies of coexistence.

All things do not exist for humanity but with humanity to bear witness to God's love.

When philosophy forgets this mystery of coexistence, civilization collapses into greed, and technology begins to usurp the place of God. Thus, Soyo's Existence Ethics restores the creative relationship among God, humanity, and all existence to the center of ethics.

Philosophy Is No Longer Thought

When philosophy begins from definitions of being, the world becomes dissected, divided, and corrupted. However, when philosophy starts with the reason for being, the world is reborn as a living organism of divine mystery. "Philosophy is not the interpretation of truth, but the living of truth." This is the resurrection of philosophy proclaimed by Soyo's Existence Ethics. Philosophy ceases to be a technology for understanding the world and becomes the journey of conscience to understand why God entrusted life to humankind.

The Ethics of Existence, the Love of God

Ultimately, every question returns to the question of love.

God did not give humanity reason merely to think, but to prove love through reason.

To understand the mystery of existence is not the goal; to revere it and coexist within it is ethics, that is, truth, that is the fulfillment of philosophy.

"When a human understands the reason for existence, they no longer seek a reason to live, for existence itself is already the love of God."

Returning to the Reason for Existence

Soyo's Existence Ethics returns philosophy to the hands of God from the hands of humankind. This philosophy does not elevate humanity to the seat of God, but brings humanity back beneath His breath, into the wonder of existence.

"Philosophy is the homecoming of humanity toward God. And in that homecoming, humans realize they have always already been within God's love."

Soyo's Declaration

"I do not question philosophy. I ask God the reason for my existence. Philosophy is not speculation but the ear of humanity listening for the breath of God."

"Do not interpret the mystery of all things. Ask only why that mystery exists with humanity. That question is love, and love itself is the ethics of existence."
