Life is, in the end, a road each person must walk alone. It is like a journey along a midnight mountain path, black as ink, where not even moonlight reaches. On this road, there are no footprints of those who walked ahead, no lantern to light the way. Only the sound of one’s own breath and the beating of one’s heart accompany the traveler.

Human beings live instinctively selfish lives. Yet this is not a flaw that destroys ethics. On the contrary, it becomes the soil where humility and the discovery of the self- emerge, thereby revealing the true worth of existence. For the past two thousand years, however, philosophy has walked as if existence and ethics were divided, unraveling their unity. I seek to weave these broken paths back into one. That is the foundation of what I have established as Soyo’s Existential Ethics.

Love Born from Isolation

In a world where one must face others to live, I long lived in rejection of people, choosing a life of isolation. Yet within that deep isolation and severance, I realized how profound and dignified the value of selfhood and ethics truly are. Paradoxically, that realization transformed me into a being who loves others.

At the end of that path, I understood this was the moment when Soyo’s Existential Ethics was completed, and the reason I came to stand as its founder. That isolation gave birth to love, that estrangement became embrace what else could this irony be but the providence of God?

From Dust to Eternity

When human existence realizes within ethics and conscience that it is nothing more than “dust,” in that very moment it steps through the gate of eternity. This realization is not a philosophical deduction but a living testimony that ethics lives within existence, and that this ethics beats in rhythm with the love of God.

Throughout the history of philosophy, countless thinkers have dissected humanity and rejected God. Their paths were stained with the blood of suffering, and those wounds still reverberate in the depths of humanity today. Yet I do not see those wounds merely as “failures of philosophy.” Rather, they are paradoxical testimonies that ethics still lives within existence.

God’s Tears Found in the Place of Suffering

The trials and pains of life are signs that existence is living out ethics. And in those very places, we witness the tears of God, weeping with us. These tears are not metaphysical abstractions but a reality encountered only in the heart of existence itself. In suffering, we realize life itself is God’s great gift, and it is through this gift that we are drawn toward eternity.

The Question Philosophy Did Not Ask

Across ages, many philosophers have perceived human suffering. Yet they did not ask whether that suffering carries within it the value of birthing new life. As a result, philosophy has failed to resurrect the life of truth, leaving behind only the residue of pain. Soyo’s Existential Ethics seeks to break through this silence. It demonstrates that suffering is not something merely to be analyzed or aestheticized, but the very creative ground where new life is born.

The Reality of Eternity

Every human being faces death. Yet human existence, already bearing eternity, can never truly die. This is neither fatalism nor religious superstition. It is the essential fact of human existence, the ultimate declaration of its dignity.

Soyo’s Existential Ethics will continue to prove this truth with ever greater depth and clarity. It is a path that transcends scholarship and theory, bearing witness before the world that each life, beating as a heart within existence, is the immeasurable gift of God.
